GPDF

"Out of the box" Fedora supports the viewing Adobe PDF files quite well using GPDF. I tried a variety of different PDF files and never saw it have a problem once. For basic viewing it seems to do the job well although as some have pointed out it can't show you a thumbnail or hierarchical view of a PDF file with that information nor will it print. However, it's much better integrated with the Fedora system than Adobe's own (ancient) port of Acrobat 5, so for example, you can scroll through a document with a scroll wheel on a mouse which Adobe's Linux version will not do.

I look forward to the next version of GPDF. I imagine that it will probably be a complete replacement for the old Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Running: The program is located on the Fedora menu under Graphics/More Graphics Applications/PDF File Viewer. The "PDF Viewer" at Graphics/PDF Viewer is XPDF not GPDF and it's not nearly as slick.
